In traditional Chinese Medicine, sleep is regarded as one of the four pillars of health. Along with managing the mind and emotions, exercising and eating well, how well we sleep determines the overall health of our body.
Changes in light, the clocks and erratic weather during spring can all impact how well we sleep during these blustery months. I’ve definitely noticed a change in our house this year and am finding the early morning awakenings from my little one quite challenging!
The easiest way for me to manage this temporary change is to get myself to bed as early as possible, and come off all devices an hour before ‘lights out’.
